Nanometer multi-hole aerogel is a kind of gel material whose dispersed phase is gas. It is accumulated by gel particles or high molecules into a manometer grid structure. This kind of structure restrains the air convection thermal conduction and solid phase thermal conduction to realize its high performance of thermal insulation.

This material uses fiber reinforcement silicon dioxide as raw material. Through fiber selection, proportion control, we can provide flexible or rigid high performance thermal insulation material with temperature range -200℃~ 800℃ . At the same time, we can provide whole set settlement proposal for the thermal insulation of special environment or component.

MAIN CHARACTERISCTICS:
The void content of the aerogel reaches 80-99.8%. The typical hole dimension is 1-100 nm. The specific surface area is 200-1000 m2/g. all the characteristics mentioned above make its low density to 3 kg/m3 and low ambient temperature thermal coefficient to 0.012 W/m•k. This light high performance material is indispensable to solve high efficiency thermal insulation under effective weight load in limited space.

TECHNOLOGY ADVANTAGE:
Aerogel is the solid material with the smallest density and lowest thermal coefficient known at present. The thermal conduction is 0.017 W/m•k in this project, half of that of the cotton felt. After heating one hour, the surface temperature of the material (20mm) is 650℃, while the back is only 75.3℃.

APPLICATION FIELDS:
As thermal insulation material, aerogel can be used in ultrasonic aerial vehicle, high power engine, high-temperature stove, high efficiency battery, green intelligent building, etc. As anti-fire material, it can be used in the making of fire-proof doors and cabin walls in tall buildings or ships. It can be also used to make special clothes, sound reduction material, catalyzer carrier, etc.

DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS:
The material has been used in the thermal insulation of ultrasonic aerial vehicle and high efficiency battery.
